CEO and Founder BestBridges
Stefan Backeljauw is the founder of BestBridges. During his many years in international leadership roles in complex infrastructure projects, he founded the company together with his wife as a family business, with a strong focus on service and customer support.
Managing Director BestBridges
With a strong background as an experienced art director, Karolien oversees the daily operations of the company. She ensures that every project balances rigorous engineering with high aesthetic standards, architectural value, and a strict focus on sustainability and circularity.
Various types of wooden balustrades are available, made of tropical hardwood such as Azobé or Bilinga. These balustrades offer great architectural freedom, allowing them to be perfectly adapted to the bridge’s design. The balustrades are easily dismountable, ensuring easy long-term maintenance without affecting the integrity of the bridge.
