The road bridges are designed in accordance with international standards such as Eurocode, AASHTO, and British Standards. Furthermore, depending on the configuration, the bridges can carry heavy or exceptional loads of up to 100 tonnes. When renovating existing bridges, the bridge deck can be replaced with a lightweight composite deck, which often allows the existing load-bearing structure to be retained. This reduces the structural load on the bridge and has a positive impact on the renovation costs and the life-cycle cost of the infrastructure.

Balustrades

Various types of wooden balustrades are available, made of tropical hardwood such as Azobé or Bilinga. These balustrades offer great architectural freedom, allowing them to be perfectly adapted to the bridge’s design. The balustrades are easily dismountable, ensuring easy long-term maintenance without affecting the integrity of the bridge.
