Every location is unique, and we like to take that into account. BestBridges’ core values are based on an innovative design process, using fewer raw materials, extending the lifespan and optimizing bridge maintenance. The construction process is approached integrally. From design onwards, we take into account the transport and installation of the bridge, resulting in more efficiency on the construction site, lower CO2 emissions and waste reduction.
All our bridges are designed so that balustrades and the deck structure in composite, wood or steel can be easily replaced or recycled. The result is a smaller carbon footprint, smart maintenance and a longer lifespan.

To BestBridges, sustainability comes as a natural reflex.
High quality standards and striving for the longest possible lifespan are essential to us, regardless of the material. Our dedication to sustainability is also reflected in the relationships we have with our customers.
Our project advisors will personally guide you from concept to installation, so that any changes have a minimal impact on your schedule or budget. This level of personal interaction with our customers and exceptional flexibility is what sets us apart from other businesses.
Sustainability is at the core of BestBridges. Thanks to optimized designs, we use less material and reduce our ecological impact, not only during fabrication but also during transport and installation of the bridge. Our efficient construction methods minimize the impact throughout the entire project and maintenance, aiming to provide sustainable and low-CO₂ solutions.
BestBridges fully embraces hybrid structures, where different materials are purposefully combined to maximize their specific strengths. By strategically using materials such as steel, wood, and composite, we create constructions with high structural efficiency, minimal maintenance requirements, and a long lifespan. The choice of primary supporting structure and secondary elements is determined based on the environment, the bridge’s life cycle, maintenance needs, and client requirements.
By recovering hardwood from existing maritime constructions, we give valuable materials a second life. The wood is carefully selected, quality-checked, and reused in boardwalks and wooden bridges. In this way, we extend the material’s lifespan, reduce waste streams, and decrease the demand for new tropical hardwood. This contributes to a circular approach in public spaces, where sustainability, quality, and responsible material use go hand in hand.
Various types of wooden balustrades are available, made of tropical hardwood such as Azobé or Bilinga. These balustrades offer great architectural freedom, allowing them to be perfectly adapted to the bridge’s design. The balustrades are easily dismountable, ensuring easy long-term maintenance without affecting the integrity of the bridge.
