Commissioned by Colas Noord NV, BestBridges was responsible for the delivery and installation of a wooden walkway in the center of Lubbeek. The walkway is 37 meters long and 3 meters wide and was constructed entirely from FSC-certified hardwood. The structure rests on Cloeziana posts, topped by a support framework and decking made of Azobé. The result is a sturdy, low-maintenance structure that blends naturally into its surroundings.

Sustainably Sourced Wood With a Long Lifespan

The deck boards are planed on all four sides and feature one grip strip per board. This keeps the walking surface slip-resistant even in rain or frost. An Azobé edge strip along the edges provides additional safety.

Azobé is one of the strongest and most durable types of wood for outdoor applications. By choosing FSC-certified wood, its origin from responsibly managed forests is guaranteed.
