Studio LST enlisted BestBridges LAB to design and engineer two modern composite bridges for a future public development site along Stationsstraat in the municipality of Diepenbeek.
As a specialized partner, BestBridges LAB was responsible for the structural design and architectural concept development, thereby supporting the engineering firm in creating a high-quality and sustainable infrastructure solution.
To support the decision-making process for this large-scale project, BestBridges LAB utilized advanced parametric design methodologies. This flexible approach enabled the team to efficiently develop, evaluate, and present various versions of customizable balustrade concepts.
Through various configurations in both steel and composite , the LAB provided the engineering firm and the local government with a clear and visual framework for evaluating the most suitable solution for the site and making well-informed decisions.
